Our Catalysts/ Volunteers

One Saturday at a time, our private school and College student volunteers enable government students to get more comfortable with and confident in speaking English. The eLessons provide the core content, but interacting, role-playing and games like pictionary with the government school kids is the real practice that helps them. Peer learning from teachers their age helps chase away any shyness these kids feel and the novelty of interacting across socio-economic strata makes us embrace the inherent similarity, intellect and comraderie in a unique way! 

We call our volunteers Catalysts as they can ignite these students on a path to a better future. Student Catalysts help run each class while School Catalysts lead the program to coordinate the program through the semester (including baseline and endline testing, coordination, etc.).
